The Challenge
As one of the largest community colleges in the nation, this School wanted a lighting controls solution that fit their sustainability mission while remaining affordable and easy to use. Ongoing building and renovation projects made it the ideal time to find such a system.
The Solution
The School selected Autani’s EnergyCenter lighting control system for its simple wireless installation and powerful control features. After a successful initial deployment in one building, EnergyCenter was expanded to additional campus buildings, adding daylight harvesting and dimming capabilities along with control of stairwell and decorative lighting.
WIRELESSLY MANAGED LIGHTING
Wireless fixture controllers and sensors provide occupancy and schedule-based lighting control. Subsequent phases incorporated daylight harvesting and dimming for even greater efficiency.
The Results
The School now has an intuitive lighting control system that showcases real-time energy use to support its sustainability goals. EnergyCenter’s ease of use allowed maintenance staff to handle later installations themselves, saving on contractor costs.
